9 Down and Eternity to Go!

The Only Digitized Proof of The Glorious Day

Wow, it is hard to believe it has been 9 years already since SuperMom and I combined forces to become the best crimefighting duo the world has ever known.

We discovered quickly that we could not take on the evils of the world alone, so we 'recruited' Monkey and Bear to aid us. Needless to say, they have been the most exciting part of the past nine years.

Alot has happened in those years since. Most notable is living in two countries, three different states, five cities, four different apartments, a mobile home, and finally Iowagner HQ.

Who knows what the future brings...

A New Member of the Team...

Now, I know what your thinking, but I need to keep you in suspense just a little longer space cadets. SuperDad has a little catching up to do! With a miserable Winter out of the way, our thoughts naturally turn to Spring and warmer weather. Our warm weather came in like a flash. One day snow, the next 85 degree temperatures. Mother Nature is a sly woman!

Of course with Spring comes SuperMom's favorite holiday, Easter. We had a fun one this year. I'll simply let the pictures do the talking.

A Beautiful Spring Shot With Our Hand-Me-Down Swingset

Now for the moment you have all been waiting for. I would like to introduce the newest member of the Iowagner team. We purchased it yesterday. It is a slightly used 1996 Ford (only the best!) Econoline E-150 Conversion Van. We traveled approximately 500 miles round trip to South Dakota to get it. SuperDad needs to avoid eBay! Now I know it's not as exciting news as a new baby, but it comes with some great features for our long distance reconnaissance missions (a.k.a. family road trips). The kids especially like the TV and VCR. Also the rear bench seat folds out into a full size bed. SuperDad enjoys the massive 5.8 Liter (351 cid) V8 engine power. The gas mileage is not so exciting though. It comes with alot of interior woodwork and aircraft style lighting. Basically it is like driving around your living room from your La-Z-Boy recliner. Currently, the Wagnermobile fleet includes 1, 2, 4, 6, and now 8-cylinder power!

Now we need your help SuperFans. This beautiful beast of a vehicle needs a name. You can Let us know which of our names you like, or suggest one. Our fate lies in your hands now!

1. Bertha, the Great White Whale

2. Moby (as in the Herman Melville Classic)

3. Van Go(gh)

4. Your personal suggestion...

Success?!?

Over the past week or so the seemingly impossible has come to pass. Bear has decided he wants to wear big boy undies. This, of course, means that he has started potty training. This has filled SuperMom with elation. There have been some hits and misses (literally!), but he is slowly getting the hang of it.

On a positive note, we have seen the first signs of a lawn at Iowagner HQ since October. You know what this means...flood season is almost here!!!

Make It STOP!!!

Greetings, our favorite Super Awesome Iowagnerfan. We here at Iowagner HQ have become a little (OK, alot) tired of the color white. There was a time when it brough a feeling of peace, but now we long for green. Of course, I am talking about snow. We have had at least a half foot of snow or more on the ground steadily for over 75 days now. We have had somewhere around 64 inches of snow to put us in the top three snowiest seasons on record. I guess now we will have stories to tell our grandkids about how bad the winters were.

All we ask, plead, desire, etc. is for Spring to make an appearance soon before we all go crazy!!!

To help things out, here is a little picture to help us remember what grass looks like...

SuperDad, over and out...

Not Dead...Just Busy!!!

Holy Cheesebuckets!, SuperFans. Has it really been almost two whole months since you have heard from the Iowagners?! Let's just say we have all been SuperExtremely busy. Unfortunately, it has been due to insane weather and even more insane work hours for SuperMom and Super Dad. Nonetheless, here is a small taste of what we have been up to. More to follow at a later date...
