Turkey to Tinsel Transformation....

Happy Holiday Hello SuperFans. SuperDad greets you from a frigid and snowy Iowagners HQ. Your favorite SuperFamily has been busy getting in the holiday spirit and eating way too much!

The Great Day of Gluttony (a.k.a. - Thanksgiving) was very enjoyable. We had the Super Schloemers over for the second year in a row. This is quickly becoming a tradition! They fried up a tasty turkey and brought numerous tasty pies and stuffing. Everyone ate to the point of explosion.

Take a 'gander' at the pictures below for the full story...

The Aftermath...Poor Turkey Didn't Even See It Coming!

Of course, after Turkey Day comes the dreaded Black Friday sales. Against her better judgement, SuperMom braved the crowds at 5:30 AM to score some good deals. When she reported back she stated the crowds at the evil empire (Wal-Mart) were insane (rude, inconsiderate shoppers and workers). In contrast the Bullseye Bonanza (Target) was much more subdued and chaos-free.

ROUND II

Having not learned our lesson from the week before, this week we put on another massive feast. This time it was done with an international twist. Having spent some time undercover in Germany, SuperDad decided to invite another schnitzel-loving super agent and his family, the Captivating Colletts, over. This time there were such mouth-watering and unpronounceable dishes as: Kaese Spaetzle, Schnitzel, Rouladen, Bratapfel Stollen, Kartoffel Kloesse (Knoedel), Gulasch, Rotkohl and of course Bratwurst. And that was just the appetizers! All the excellent food and reminiscing made SuperDad have some homesickness for Deutschland.

Einfach Lecker! (simply delicious!)

Now that we can officially prepare for Christmas, we have gussied up the house in all the holiday decorations we possess. Each year there somehow seems to be more and more! We will post more pictures later, but I thought I should share one in particular. Ever since we decorated the house, Monkey has insisted on wearing this nightcap to bed each and every night. She will actually wake up in the middle of the night if it falls off. Nonetheless, it is cute.

Ha! You still have the bells that crazy "rooster jen" gave us at Tiles! I do too. :) Cause you know me...I don't throw anything out. ;) I wish I could have been there for the German feast. Mmmm.

So Mike and I have decided that Superdad's weakness is the inability to grasp weapons.
